I have hated wind chimes since I was a child, to me they are creepy and annoying (Please, no offense to anyone who likes them). I live in a duplex and my neighbor is nice but kind of inconsiderate when it comes to certain things (i.e. wind chimes and parking – parking thing is resolved for now). She is an older lady and her children are grown. Mine are younger and I know occasionally can be loud, for instance going up and down the stairs. We are always on them for no thumping and bumping because they need to be considerate of our neighbor. My problem is she has got this huge set of wind chimes set right in the middle of our shared front porch. Even with TV on I can hear them ALL DAY and through the night until I go to bed. We have lived in our apartment for 9 months and I really can not stand it any longer. I do not want to cause any problems and I am not sure if going to the landlord would be the right thing. I just can’t stand it. It is very inconsiderate to assume everyone likes wind chimes. What should I do – any suggestions? I thought about going out at night and tying a string around them and maybe she would get the hint. Please any suggestions may be helpful.
Just for the record, my husband can’t stand them either, but I think he is better at tuning them out.

Hammock bivy by ajillis – raintest update Results at: 4:45 Webbing… This is a “common” problem with most hammocks out there. It is also the #1 mod done by most that hang. Usually described as lightening their suspension system, it doubles as ending the water problems from webbing. Wish this would be fixed at the production end from all hammock vendors to start with. They know the problem, so why not eliminate it. Most end users do not want to re-string webbing. They just want to hang and stay dry! Ajilis, Sorry for the bad reviews, I try to be honest. So, have production put the pocket on the inside as it should have been near that toggle. Remove this water absorbing webbing, replaced with two part webbing. Just a small loop of less absorbing webbing near the ends with loop for carabiner and tree huggers with less absorbing type webbing on other end with loops for carabiner. Double seal the bow area, at which point I would give this a 8/10 review! Make it all woodland camo and replace bugnet with finer black no seeum netting and it’s a 10/10 survival hammock as good as, if not better than most on the market! Nice “first” attempt! Please send me one when you fix it so I can make another honest review!
