Coming home from a New Year’s Day walk in the woods with my wife…the weather really started to warm up. It almost felt like early Summer. It was getting windy as we made our way back into town and this wind chime caught our attention…It’s in front of The Northwest Nature Shop, a very cool family owned local business here in Ashland Oregon where we live. There’s a nice little garden out front with a bench and bird feeders…We sat and listened for a while and of course, I couldn’t resist shooting a little video…It starts with a bottom up view of a very cool hanging sculpture they have there and then backs up for a longer view of the chimes. That brings me to the inspiration behind this patch: “Games should be fun.” When first approached about my Alchemist class I was told that it was “too overpowered” by a lot of people.
