If I remember correctly, the folklore says that wind chimes don´t ?attract? spirits, but they do signify when one is around.
That being said, there is a reason why they´re called WIND chimes.
To counteract get a Tibetan prayer flag and when the wind blows the chime enjoy the pleasant sound for the prayer flag is waving and streaming prayers heavenward. all is peace.
Yes, and the way you know is that you can hear them tinkling on the front porch.

r wind chimes that things tht look are long poles and they get shorter as it goes on?

Answer: never heard of it til then I don’t think so
i have an asian friend and thats what they say they don’t like it but for me i don’t care it sounds good at night makes a fall a sleep fast
